Lothar brings in worldwide top level management experience in the ICT-industry. He joined the Siemens Telecommunications Unit in 1986 and took over several responsibilities in Fibre Optics Submarine Cable unit, in Printed Manufacturing plants in Munich and Bruchsal, in the Joint Ventures of Siemens Telecom Unit in Prague/Warzaw before he became the CFO of Siemens Telecom in Indonesia.
Until 1996 he served as the CFO of Siemens Mobile Networks - responsible together with the CEO for 500 Mio DM business volumes and until 2000 he acted as CEO of Siemens Mobile Networks - Growing the business from EUR 250 Mio sales to EUR 5 bn; turned the business from -25% Ebit Margin to + 10% Ebit Margin with a positive EVA.
Until 2004 member of the Managing Board of Siemens Mobile Group with a total sales volume of EUR 9 bn , until 05 CEO Siemens Communications with a sales volume of EUR 17 bn; total of 55.000 people; integrating three different cultures(Fixed , Mobile and Enterprise Network.
In 2005 he joined Deutsche Telekom as Executive Board member and CEO of T-Systems; further responsibilities assigned: Network, IT, Procurement.
Since 2007 Lothar is managing his own Management Consulting Company with the Business Mission to offer his international network and experience in the areas of Telecommunication and IT. This resulted in several mandates for advising M&A transactions, Board seats at midsized Companies and acting as Sounding Board for executives in major corporations.
